Sloppy Joes
Yields: 4-6 Servings

This dish only gets better with time in the fridge so, if you have time, plan ahead make this dish the day before!
Ingredients
2 (4oz) Hodo Tofu Veggie Burger patties locate product
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
2 cloves of chopped garlic
1 & 1/2 tsp chili powder
1 & 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp chili flakes
1 tsp dijon mustard
2 tbsp ketchup
1/2 tsp dark molasses
1/2 cup veggie broth
1/2 cup tomato puree
S&P to taste
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a heavy bottom pan.
Add onion and bell pepper. add a pinch of salt and pepper. Saute for 5-7 on medium low heat until vegetables are soft but not colored.
Add garlic and saute for 1 more minute. Reduce the heat to low.
Add smoked paprika, chili powder and chili flakes. Stir to toast spices for 1-2 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat.
Take the Hodo Tofu Veggie Burger patties and grind/mash them with your hands (tearing them into little pieces) into the pan. Add tomato puree, veggie broth, ketchup, molasses, dijon mustard to the pan.
Bring mixture to a gentle boil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Turn to medium low heat and cover. Cook for 45 minutes stirring every 10-15 minutes.
