Sloppy Joes
Yields: 4-6 Servings

This dish only gets better with time in the fridge so, if you have time, plan ahead make this dish the day before!
Ingredients
- 2 (4oz) Hodo Tofu Veggie Burger patties locate product 
- 1 tbsp olive oil 
- 1 small onion, diced 
- 1 green bell pepper, diced 
- 2 cloves of chopped garlic 
- 1 & 1/2 tsp chili powder 
- 1 & 1/2 tsp smoked paprika 
- 1/4 tsp chili flakes 
- 1 tsp dijon mustard 
- 2 tbsp ketchup 
- 1/2 tsp dark molasses 
- 1/2 cup veggie broth 
- 1/2 cup tomato puree 
- S&P to taste 
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a heavy bottom pan. 
- Add onion and bell pepper. add a pinch of salt and pepper. Saute for 5-7 on medium low heat until vegetables are soft but not colored. 
- Add garlic and saute for 1 more minute. Reduce the heat to low. 
- Add smoked paprika, chili powder and chili flakes. Stir to toast spices for 1-2 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat. 
- Take the Hodo Tofu Veggie Burger patties and grind/mash them with your hands (tearing them into little pieces) into the pan. Add tomato puree, veggie broth, ketchup, molasses, dijon mustard to the pan. 
- Bring mixture to a gentle boil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Turn to medium low heat and cover. Cook for 45 minutes stirring every 10-15 minutes.
