Moroccan Spice Rub

Ingredients

  • 3 (10oz) packages Hodo Extra Firm Tofu, each cut into 16 pieces locate product

  • 2 tbsp Aleppo pepper, crushed

  • 2 tbsp Hungarian paprika

  • 1 tbsp cumin, ground

  • 1 tbsp fennel, ground

  • 2 tbsp coriander, ground

  • ½ tbsp mint, dried

  • ¼ tsp nutmeg

  • 1 tsp sumac

  • ½ tsp black pepper, ground

  • 1 tbsp kosher salt

  • ½ tsp sugar (optional)

  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. Take each block of Organic Extra Firm Tofu and cut it into roughly 16 pieces then set aside.

  2. Mix each of the ingredients together in a medium bowl. Cover each piece of tofu with the spice mixture, then marinate tofu overnight.

  3. The next day, heat and oil a grill.

  4. Grill the marinated tofu until grill marks form, about 4 mins on each side.

  5. Serve as the main dish in a delicious lunch or dinner!
